I recently was contacted about testing a product called SG-20 Adhesive Sealant for Outdoor Gear.
SG 20 Adhesive Sealant
I started reading the information about SG 20 Adhesive Sealant and it is fairly new on the market, but has advantages over
competitive products. It sets in a minute or so and waders (or other
repaired items) can be used about an hour after the repair is made. This is
attractive to many hunters because other products require almost a 24 hour drying time.
It also works great as an adhesive. It sticks to aluminum, wood, metal
Favorite Boots Repaired
I just happened to have some rubber hunting boots that were in need of some repair or they were headed to the garbage. Quickly, I told them I would love to test their product. They sent me some SG-20 Adhesive Sealant for Outdoor Gear right away. I have a pair of rubber deer hunting boots. My favorite when I am out chasing big deer, shed hunting, scouting and checking trail cameras. I love the boots but the wear and tear I put them through had caused several tears. In need of repair, so I could keep using the boots. There was nothing wrong with them otherwise.
I had no problems using the SG-20 Adhesive Sealant for Outdoor Gear. And I was able to repair my boots back to being waterproof and it worked great. You do have to have your repair ready to go once you mix the two part poly-urethane adhesive materials. Because once you mix it in the tip it will dry in the tip very fast. So be ready to make your repair before you mix it. I have a friend who had a pair of waders that were in need of repair. I highly recommended this great product to him, and I highly recommend it to anyone that hunts.
It drys very fast so if you are out in the field and need to make a repair you can do so and it will dry unbelievably fast. You’ll be back to having fun doing whatever you are doing. It can be used for many different things. I will definitely be getting me some more to keep around. SG-20 could keep you from having to pack it up and go home when out in the field. Just repair those waders or whatever it may be and get back to the fun. Do your self a favor and get you some. I did.
